Theresa S. Betancourt, ScD, MA, Salem Professor in Global Practice at the Boston College School of Social Work and Director of the Research Program on Children and Adversity (RPCA), expounds upon the successes and challenges of her work involving children and conflict and how to leverage research to inform policy. She offers insights about the policy and research goals we should prioritize in the future.
Host, Frank Boudon is a Yale undergraduate in Pierson College who is a prospective Ethics, Politics, and Economics major. He is interested in international development and is grateful for the opportunity to participate in meaningful work that examines the important connection between early childhood development (ECD) and peace. Outside of the classroom, Frank is involved in consulting, public policy research, and Yale’s UNICEF group.
