Brought together by Make Mothers Matter (ECPC member organization) to amplify the voices of Afghan #mothers, global personalities and organisations are participating in the launch of the #RaiseAPen campaign in support of Afghan girls’ right to education.

Staffan de Mistura, former UN Special Envoy to Afghanistan who is championing the #RaiseAPain campaign said: “This call is very timely. In Afghanistan, there can be no sustainable peace without education for all, but most importantly, education for women and girls who represent 51% of the population”.
