Dilshan is the Associate Director for Peacebuilding Programming with World Vision International. He provides overall leadership to the organizations efforts on integrating Peacebuilding into its Humanitarian, Development and Advocacy Programming. His core area of technical support includes: Empowering Children as Peacebuilders, Youth Peace and Security, and faith leader engagement in Peacebuilding and Conflict Sensitive programming. He has also been part of World Vision’s expansion strategy into fragile contexts, focusing on programming across the peacebuilding, development, and humanitarian nexus. Dilshan is a member of the Global Coalition on Youth, Peace and Security lead by the United Nations Peacebuilding Support Office (UNPBSO), Search for Common Grounds (SFCG) and the United Network of Young Peacebuilders (UNOY). He earned a master’s in Organizational Management from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka, and reading for his masters in Applied Conflict Transformation at Pannasastra University in Cambodia. Dilshan is affiliated with the World Vision Global Peacebuilding technical team and is based in Sri Lanka.
