Early Childhood Development Advances The Culture of Peace

On 29 November 2018 at Yale University, the ECPC co-hosted a conference that featured a global team of peacebuilding experts who championed the transformative power of children and families as agents of change for peace. Together, they revealed a proven theory of change and sounded global call to action.  Presented in this section is a 14-part video series that captures their knowledge, energy and inspiration.

Small asks for BIG impact: Investing in the early years for sustainable development and peaceful societies

On 17 July, the ECPC co-hosted a special event at UNICEF HQ during the 2019 United Nations High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development. A distinguished panel of seven including high-level experts from science, practice, governance and civil society presented on the growing evidence base for investing early, including how early childhood programs and services contribute to multiple 2030 Sustainable Development Goals and building ‘The Culture of Peace’.
