Dear Members of the NGO Panel for the UN Global Study on Children Deprived of Liberty,

We are reaching the end of 2020, a year which has brought countless added challenges to our work as well as new opportunities. Several launches as well as events have contributed to the Global Study dissemination as well as to setting child deprivation of liberty on the agenda of key stakeholders.

We are glad to invite you to the last 2020 launch of the Global Study in the Netherlands, which will take place online on Friday, 18 December (9.30-11.30 am). The event, organised by DCI-the Netherlands, will begin with a presentation of the findings of the Study by Prof. Manfred Nowak and be followed by different stakeholders’ recommendations, including young experts, to Dutch politicians and policymakers.
