About this event
We would like to invite settings in Newry Mourne & Down, South & East Belfast to join our session which will be hosted via Microsoft teams on March 1st.
This session, entitled; supporting children’s feelings & behaviours is funded by the Community Relations Council.
The session will provide participants with an opportunity to:
- Increase their understanding of children’s feelings and behaviours.
- Examine theories of child development, learning and behaviour.
- Explore the role of the adult and discuss expectations.
- Evaluate the impact of the environment on the child.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the training, participants will be able to:
- Identify triggers and patterns in feelings and behaviour.
- Use strategies and interventions to support children within the setting.
- Encourage resilience in young children through increased knowledge of the concept.
