About
We are delighted to announce that AÇEV’s Symposium “Future Pathways for Early Childhood Development: Science to Practice” will take place on May 13, 2024 from 9 am - 10:30 am (GMT+3) in Istanbul, Turkey.
Over thirty years ago, AÇEV—the Mother Child Education Foundation—was founded with a single central mission: to develop, promote, and scale up Early Childhood Development (ECD) programs to support children and families from disadvantaged backgrounds in Turkey and beyond. In the decades since, with your help and inspiration, we have done so.
Yet, despite the critical advancements in the ECD field, immense challenges remain, especially for children who live in the most vulnerable conditions. What is the right path for ECD and the global community to achieve a future where every child can thrive, develop, learn, and flourish to their full potential?
That question is the central theme of our international ECD Symposium. To mark our 30th anniversary, we will convene renowned experts and leading practitioners from around the world to discuss and explore the latest developments in the field of ECD, and to re-imagine and re-invent the possibilities for ECD today and tomorrow.
We hope that you will join us in Istanbul or virtually on May 13th. Please find our program below; we have a spectacular lineup of speakers and inspiring panel sessions planned.
