The Center for Disaster Philanthropy is hosting a webinar to highlight how funders can support child development across the globe, with a particular focus on children in CHEs. It will explore promising practices for supporting children in crisis, examine the gaps in service delivery and discuss funding opportunities.

Opening and closing remarks by ECPC Co-founder and Emeritus Member Dr Ernesto Caffo, President of the SOS Foundation - Il Telefono Azzurro, Member of the Pontifical Commission for the Protection of Minors, Former Full Professor of Child Neuropsychiatry at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.
 
The theme of children missing in emergency situations will be the cornerstone of this day, especially in light of the crisis that Ukraine has been going through in recent months. This has particularly aggravated the conditions of uncertainty and insecurity in which children and adolescents affected by this crisis find themselves. Especially in contexts of war, in fact, the passage from one border to another can worsen, even more, the situation of more vulnerable categories, such as that of children, subjecting them to serious short and long-term consequences, such as risks trafficking and exploitation.
