Inas Hegazi is the ECD Manager at UNICEF Egypt Country Office. She is recognized for her expertise in policy development, advocacy and sector wide reforms for promoting the rights of children as established under the CRC and other international frameworks. Dr. Inas has worked on designing and implementing innovative models for early childhood development and inclusive education programs to reach the hard to reach children, strengthen government policies and systems, and promote the role of quality assurance and good governance in achieving equity, access and quality.
Dr. Inas obtained her masters and doctoral degree in Human Resource Development and Performance Improvement from Manchester University (Manchester, UK) and Capella University (Minnesota, USA). Prior to joining UNICEF she worked at the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) as Senior Education Advisor.
