June 1 marks the Global Day of Parents and the beginning of Parenting Month. The Global Initiative to Support Parents (GISP) invites you to the second annual Global Parenting Townhall on June 3 to kick off parenting month and launch its new Resource Hub. This town hall presents a unique opportunity for the parenting and caregiving community, along with our country partners, to convene, exchange updates and stories, and share forthcoming plans for Parenting Month and beyond.

- Introduction to Parenting Month
- Share the GISP toolkit for download and use
- Share UNICEF ‘s plans/ and toolkits for country offices
- Details on how countries can join the global movement to support parents and caregivers and leverage the GISP platform
- Recent updates on parenting and caregiving including:
- Launch of the compendium (African Early Childhood Network)
- Parenting framework: UNICEF Europe and Central Asia (ECARO) team
- Systems mapping (WHO EURO)
- Updates from the Asia-Pacific Regional Network for Early Childhood Conference (ARNEC)
- Parenting Jamboree: sharing plans for Parenting Month (open to all)
