The International Peace Institute (IPI) is pleased to invite you to the next event in its “Leading for Peace: Voices from the Field” series, taking place on Tuesday, February 26, from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. On this occasion, Mr. Onanga, whose tenure as Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Head of MINUSCA will end at the end of this month, will share his experience and analysis on stabilization efforts and peace consolidation efforts in the Central African Republic. He will also share his insights and ideas regarding the Political Accord for Peace and Reconciliation in the CAR, signed in Bangui on February 6, 2019, as well as what he believes will be necessary for its sustainability.
