The City of Peace Summer Camp brings together for a week experts from the world of journalism, video makers and operators involved in hospitality projects to imagine a new way of telling migrations and in particular the stories of refugees. It is an experiment of small social incubator able to make the participants dialogue with the reception context and to provide the tools for building a constructive dialogue within contemporary society, where the migrant should be considered as bearer of uniqueness and of new opportunities.
Where and when
The City of Peace Summer Camp is held from 15 to 21 July 2019 in Sant’Arcangelo (Pz), a small village in Basilicata, Italy where the reception projects for refugees and asylum seekers promoted by the Nobel Peace Prize winner Betty Williams have been active since 2012.
How to apply
People from 18 to 35 years of age, of all nationalities, can participate by signing up for the application form to which a valid identity document and a dated and signed up Curriculum Vitae must be attached and sent only with email to vincenzocursio1@arubapec.it.
