Learn about actions and initiatives involving migrant and refugee children or “children on the move”, an umbrella definition which brings together children moving for a variety of reasons (conflict, poverty, violence, natural disasters, climate change discrimination, lack of education and access to services) within or between countries, with or without their parents or other caregivers. 

The Harvard Humanitarian Initiative (HHI) is a university-wide academic and research center at Harvard University that brings an interdisciplinary approach to promoting understanding of humanitarian crisis as a unique contributor to global health problems, and to developing evidence-based approaches to humanitarian assistance.
