I used to think that early childhood development was all about education. That if we taught a child her colours and shapes, her letters and numbers, it would stimulate her mind and encourage healthy brain growth. And that is very true.
NEW HAVEN — Representatives from some of the world’s largest development, aid, and relief agencies will convene at Yale for a campus-wide working session to address the global child refugee crisis.
The event takes place on Monday, Oct. 5 from 1 to 2 p.m. in Henry R. Luce Hall Auditorium, 34 Hillhouse Ave.
As the global child refugee crisis intensifies, Yale convened experts from various global organizations on Oct. 5 to better understand the crisis, the challenges NGOs face, and how Yale can help address it.
